I'm still trying to figure out what to do after Arches National Park. I'm thinking Denver but that's not set in stone.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life

You met me at a very strange time in my life. Yesterday, I left the IT working world after deciding 2 months ago that I couldn't continue down this same path for much longer. My name is Matt. I'm 26 years old and as of yesterday, unemployed. I've spent my entire life either working or in school and rather than take on another job immediately, I've decided that I need to take some time to figure out what it is I'm doing with my life and if it's right for me. My plan? I want to travel the country, see what it has to offer and hopefully, in the process, learn more about myself and if IT is really my passion and if not, what is. I love nature and the outdoors and want to make that the primary focus of my trip. What I'm looking for now are some ideas of where to go, what to see, etc within the continental US. I have made a similar request on Facebook and as I collect ideas, I will take the best and add them to my itinerary. If you have some ideas, please feel free to comment.
